“Spricenieks pushed – and continue to push – the boundaries of ski mountaineering, especially in the realm of descending huge mountain faces. And none was bigger than the most sought after goal of Canada: the first decent of the 55 degree north face of Canada’s Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, completed in 1995”.

David Owen
The day David first stepped into a pair of skis back in 1976, he was hooked. After discovering snowboarding with his friends Adam, Erin, and Blaise 17 years ago, the addiction carried beyond Dar's ski weekends and the powder at "Powerlines"; it was the soul of it all. David carries these memories today as his passion to ride and dreams to travel have taken him on his own powder quest. The mountains and volcanoes of Colorado, Wyoming, Canada, Alaska, and Chile and Argentina have been his main focus. In 1994, his wanderlust began, and before he knew it, he had explored, surfed, and snowboarded 15 Latin American Countries. After landing in South America’s outdoor adventure mecca, Pucon, Chile, he built an adventure tourism company, learned the Spanish language, and established residence in this mystical country. David is your head guide for all tours in Chile and Argentina.
